どんどんアイデアがわいてきます
比較級をandでつなげると、「ますます～」という程度がしだいにましていく状態をあらわすことができます。
More and more ideas(ますます多くのアイデア)は、アイデアが次から次へと止めどなくわいてきているイメージです。
He’s getting more and more interested in radio.
彼はラジオにますます興味を持っています
busierやcolderのように”-er”をつけて比較級をつくる形容詞・副詞は、”busier and busier”のように比較級をandでつなぎます。
一方interestedのように直前にmoreをつけて比較級をつくるものは、”more and more interested”のようにmoreを2回繰り返す形をとります。
It’s getting cooler and cooler.
ますます寒くなっています。
Rick is becoming more and more interested in Japanese culture.
リックはますます日本文化に興味を持っていきます。
