Those costumes are crazy. Every year Halloween gets bigger and bigger in Japan.
We don't celebrate Halloween like this in my country. Why do you think Halloween is so popular here?
I think Japanese people enjoy scary things like ghosts.
Yes, some of the costumes are scary. But they're funny too.

<thinker and believer>
So, what does "thinker" mean?
Well, a thinker is someone who thinks deeply. So, for example, a philosopher would be considered a thinker.
So how about a "believer"?
Well, a "believer", the first association would be someone who's into religion.

thinker n)深く考える人、思想家、哲学者　あくまで「頭」にフォーカス
believer n)宗教を信じている人、信仰者　「心」の中に根を下ろした感
philosopher n)哲学者
association n)連想、つながり、提携、共同、団体、組合、会社

Never say you think we can meet the deadline, say you believe we can meet the deadline.

I believe Tom.  トムの言うことを信じている
I believe in Tom.  トムを信じている
（inがあるとその人の深い部分、人格とかにbelieveが及んでいる）

<express yourself in English>
1.誰しも投票の権利は行使すべきだと思います
I believe that everyone should exercise their right to vote.

believeを使うことによって非常に強い主張、その感触が伝わってくる

allを使わずにeveryone。everyは個々のメンバーに気配りをした単語。そこからeveryoneには「誰しもが」という非常に強い語調が生まれている。

allだと少しぼやけた感じになる

「行使する」はuseでも通じることは通じるが、ここはexercise。投票の権利 right to voteというフレーズの重みと釣り合う感じがするので。exerciseは「使う/(権利などを)行使する」

2.トムの言うことを信じるな。彼は嘘つきなんだ。

I believe in free education.
