※前置詞 to と for の使い分け

I went to...   ...に行った(到着済)

I go for...  ...に行く(向かっているだけ･未だ到着していない)

He left for the theater.  劇場に向かって出発した

到達点「～に(人)」

He is known to several generations. 

known to many generations

He is kind/polite to ladies.

到達点「対比･対象」

We won five to two.　5対2で勝ちました

Chris is ten years senior/junior to me.   クリスは10才年上です私の

I prefer math to English.   数学が好き英語より
